River landscape

The painting "Fluvial Landscape" certainly dates back to the late 1970s (or early 1980s), having been found in the studio where Amurri painted at the time. It depicts a Lombard landscape, a farmhouse along a stream. The artist, despite being in love with his homeland, the Marche, which he painted throughout his life, worked extensively outdoors in the areas near Milan, where he would commute, often on his scooter, with easel and paints. His favorite subjects in Lombardy were the plains, the streams, but also the factories of the Milanese hinterland with their chimneys and warehouses.
The painting "River Landscape" has a slight imperfection on the canvas, which has been repaired with duct tape on the back. A very small crack is visible on the front of the painting.
