The iconography is inspired by the subject of Maternity and offers a classicist interpretation. The artistic language draws inspiration from classical antiquity, both Greek and Roman. All this translates into an execution whose primary goal is mimesis, that is, the human need to imitate and reproduce nature, our surroundings. Along with naturalistic rendering, the other fundamental concept, according to the parameters of Classicism, is the unity of the work of art, through a harmonious correspondence between all its parts.

Paul Vincze was born in 1907 in Galgagyörk, Hungary, and passed away in 1994 in Grasse, France. He was a Hungarian coin and medal designer, as well as a sculptor. Vincze's artistic work is distinguished by a revival of the classical style that characterizes all his medals and sculptures.
