Piero Bettarini is an artist from Lamporecchio, the town where he lives and works. A self-taught artist with a passion for painting, his training came through direct contact with nature. In his works, Piero Bettarini loves to reproduce what he sees during his long walks among olive groves and vineyards. For this reason, his art is imbued with a profound sense of naturalism, and the world around him is depicted with remarkable sensitivity. Bettarini's brushstrokes are both precise in their description and vibrant with light and atmosphere. In other works, Bettarini also develops a pointillist technique, using which he creates vibrant polychrome mosaics on canvas.
