Piero Principi - Still Life

Principi, born in 1959, after graduating from high school in classical studies and art, attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Macerata, where he graduated in 1983 in Painting under the guidance of Maestro Remo Brindisi . Attracted to copperplate engraving and fine art printing, in 1983 he published his first artist's book on Erasmus of Rotterdam's "In Praise of Folly." In 1987, he dedicated forty works of "visual poetry" to the French poet Arthur Rimbaud .
He has exhibited in prestigious galleries in Italy and in Austria, Belgium, France, Switzerland, and the United States. The exhibition at Orangestudio will be open daily from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM until January 9, 2005.
