Piero La Rosa is an artist from Soverato. He attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome under the guidance of Franco Gentilini and is active on the national and international art scene. In the 1980s, he was a member of the "Painters at Cinecittà" group and the Association of One Hundred Painters of Via Margutta in Rome. Group and solo exhibitions have been held in Ferrara, at the Chiostrino di San Romano, Rome's Galleria dei Leoni, Via Margutta, Catanzaro's Provincial Hall, Rome's American Embassy, ​​Santaseverina Castle, Squillace Archaeological Park, Gurdavalle Pietrarotta Museum, the Galleries of the Monumental Complex of San Giovanni-Catanzaro, the Palazzo delle Culture in Squillace, the Don Bosco High School in Montalto Uffugo, the Villa Comunale (Naval League headquarters) in Soverato, and Le Castella in Isola Capo Rizzuto. His works have been published in specialized magazines.
