Description of the work
Description of the work
Pinuccio Sciola (San Sperate, March 15, 1942 – May 13, 2016) was an Italian sculptor known for his "sounding stones," stone sculptures capable of emitting sounds when touched or struck. An internationally renowned artist, he transformed his hometown into a "Museum-Town," combining tradition and experimentation. Using natural materials such as stone and wood, Sciola created works that explore the relationship between humanity, nature, and sound, making the dialogue between art and the landscape tangible.
