After the publication of the Mappa mundi 1457 and the Nautical Atlas by Battista Agnese, Treccani published another exceptional facsimile edition of 16th-century maritime cartography, in a run of just 749 numbered copies: the Universal Map in Marine Style with Chorographic Elements, by Giorgio Sìderi, known as Calapodà, a cartographer of Cretan origin, dated 1550, preserved in the Library of the Correr Museum in Venice and known as Portolano 6.
