His painting style is recognizable for its use of soft colors and a consistently balanced and legible approach. He did not seek spectacular effects, but rather a sincere connection with what he depicted. He worked consistently throughout his life, maintaining a personal style and faithful to the themes he felt closest to. He passed away in 2005.
