Landscape has always been a central theme in artistic research, both as a setting, as a backdrop, and as a subject itself. The naturalistic depiction of landscape has been a major aspiration for artists of every era. Each historical period has offered its own interpretation of landscape, contributing to the evolution of its depiction: first with an exploration of space, through Brunelleschi's perspective in the early Renaissance; then with atmospheric rendering in the sixteenth century; and finally with the depiction of every single vibration of light on objects in Impressionism. The painter's style focuses on a rough pictorial rendering, yet still well-structured in the composition of the volumes. In the view presented, the painting takes on a luminous tone that builds the atmosphere of the painting, focusing on the overlapping of the houses. The depth created by the path in the foreground effectively supports the depiction of the residential layout in the background, with natural colors that perfectly match the pictorial approach. Furthermore, the natural element inserted by the artist contributes to the rural setting, offering an almost naïve overall vision, characterized by a certain simplification of the drawing. We found no references to Radici's artistic career. However, we can confirm that the artist has a thorough understanding of 19th-century landscape painting, with a naive influence.
