The painting was featured in an exhibition on Via Margutta in Rome, where it was displayed for 14 days. Appreciated and described by various art experts, it is the most "modern" of my paintings. The painting depicts two peasants from a bygone era. He presses the viewer with his gaze, reminding them that equal labor is the dogma of all. She, however, with a gaze that pierces the edges of the painting, continues her journey toward the other side of the road. The two have reached the end of their day's work shift.
