Psalm 4

The work, part of the cycle of Psalms, is a hymn to hope. A quest for Justice that only a supreme being can bestow, a justice imbued with mercy because the human heart is weak. The psalmist says: Let the light of your face shine upon us, Lord. The torn fabrics and gray are illuminated by touches of red; humanity always has hope. Above all, a circle shines, a symbol of perfection, testifying to a salvation already given, to a certain hope, almost a continuous dawn in the darkness of humanity.
