Santiago Cogorno was an artist born in Buenos Aires in 1915. His family moved to Italy in 1923, and Cogorno trained at the Brera Academy. His first solo exhibition was held in St. Moritz, Switzerland, in 1949. In the early 1950s, numerous exhibitions of his gouaches were held in Buenos Aires.
