Scibella's style is based primarily on a solid drawing structure. Through a highly defined line, the painter first creates the framework of the work, in which a clear linear system emphasizes the subject's volumes and plastic qualities. Thus, the folds of the garment take on prominence, as do the subject's facial features, which are faithfully reproduced. The artist's pronounced plasticity is further enhanced by the light and confirmed by the very compact application of color, which avoids overly painterly effects.

Scibella is a painter with a solid pictorial background, especially in the construction of the drawn structure of his works. His pictorial conception is tied to a consistent naturalistic rendering, although there is also a certain degree of idealization, evident in his use of a highly objective style tending towards hyperrealism.
