Sergio Milani - Ornate

The Ornato rocking horse is a small, handcrafted wooden rocking horse mounted on fine wood rocking bases. It is decorated using watercolors, variously diluted, and finished with 22K gold leaf. The decorative theme for this line is "Ornaments in the History of Art," featuring interpretations of ornaments from frescoes, gates, frames, and carvings found in villas, monuments, and antique furnishings. The same ornamentation is featured on both sides of the rocking horse, but with different chromatic interpretations. Each work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. Each catalog number is limited to a print run of 50 unique, numbered copies, each faithfully reproduced photographically.
