The human figure has always been at the center of artistic research. Since the classical age, the naturalistic rendering of human anatomy has been a primary goal of painters and sculptors throughout history. Stylistically and formally, the Salerno-born artist focuses on the representation of the feminine world, featuring women's faces with distinctly sinuous and delicate features. What shines through in the painter's work is a desire to delve into the emotions of the women he portrays, revealing a certain pictorial sensitivity. The colors in this case are joyful and vibrant, with streaks that form a backdrop to the depicted face. The face's proportions are also excellent, enhanced by the color and design. The facial features are generic, creating a highly expressive and iconic figure. The work's expressionism is evident primarily in the dynamic and complex pictorial style. Carlo Turchino, known professionally as Carlito T., is an artist born in Salerno in 1974. His creative instincts have evolved over time, and after attending art school, he delved into the world of tattoos. His works, his preferred medium being acrylic on canvas, are primarily inspired by the feminine world, in which he finds poetic and sensual overtones. His work has been exhibited in various cities around the world, including Munich, São Paulo, Paris, Sanremo, and Naples.
