Description of the work
Description of the work
Flowers as a subject in themselves began to appear in still lifes, a genre that emerged in the early 17th century. Subsequently, painters, especially the Impressionists, increasingly focused on the floral world as an extraordinary opportunity to capture vibrant colors and light. Thus, flowers began to appear not only in vases, but also immersed in their natural landscape. While initially a pretext for painters to attempt a photographic reproduction of reality, with contemporary art, the subject of flowers also becomes a way of interpreting reality.
The work of the contemporary painter Titian is primarily inspired by the world of nature, and especially flowers, to achieve a vision of reality as a fresh and vibrant polychrome. Thus, the expanses of flowers provide Titian with a pretext for achieving a harmony of colors, in a delicate interplay of balances and compositional references. Titian's exploration is also supported by form. In his style, color predominates, applied in large, dense strokes in a sort of Divisionist technique.
Tiziano is a contemporary painter born in 1964. His work is inspired by nature and flowers, elements that the artist uses as a source of inspiration for a vision of reality as a polychrome harmony.
