Tosca Pannocchi - Natural Evil, Artificial Evil

Work composed of four panels, one 90x120 cm and three 40x40 cm panels

A feminist work that addresses very important and sensitive issues, such as breast cancer and femicide: two evils that have afflicted women for centuries. The background of the main work reflects the colors of the emblematic symbols of these battles: red shoes for femicide and pink ribbons for breast cancer. This background is also echoed in two of the smaller works, depicting a woman covering her missing breast and a woman seen from behind, the most passionate part of the female body. The work with the blue background represents innocence, which is misunderstood and seen as provocation.
