Totus Tuus - Fmr Art'è

The title of the volume, Totus Tuus, comes from the episcopal and papal motto of John Paul II and includes an anthology of texts taken from his teachings. The edition includes an anthological selection of texts taken from the Teachings of John Paul II and the introductions edited by Monsignor Arthur Burton Calkins , the preface by HE Monsignor Carlo Caffarra , and an out-of-text plate created exclusively by Maestro Floriano Bodini . The stitching, binding, and cover of the volume, in natural parchment with gold inscriptions, were created using an ancient manual process by the Legatoria L'Arte del Libro of Todi. The front and back covers of the volume feature an example of the Opera Ioannes Paulus II and an example of the Opera Mater Pietatis by Maestro Floriano Bodini, original bas-relief sculptures in 925 ‰ silver, 100 mm in diameter, minted and hand-patinated at the Laboratorio Artistico Senesi in Pognano, in a limited edition. The fine cotton paper, 160 g, embellished with the papal watermark, was made in a round shape especially for this edition by Cartiere d'Arches in France. The plate outside the text was printed using a lithoscreen technique on BFK Rives fine paper, 250 g, at Stamperia d'Arte Squadro in Bologna. The text, set in Bodoni type in 18, 14, and 12 point sizes, was printed at Stamperia Valdonega in Arbizzano.
