The small size of the roundels is dictated by a choice tailored to meditation.

Hyperrealistic painting, in this case, with acrylics is applied to a photographic image that has already been printed, usually on canvas or on a plotted canvas or on inkjet paper backed with canvas.
The subjects for this triptych were chosen from photographs taken at a local market. The exclusion of color is deliberate to highlight the design, the aesthetic image, and the social significance each fabric conveys.
The act of painting is a further focus, a linguistic short circuit, a meditation that extends the work's communicative purpose in time and space. The metamorphosis is chameleonic.
