The structure is based entirely on brushstrokes and the way Warner's brilliant hues are laid across the surface of the canvas. In this work in particular, there is a forceful gesture based on a circular motion that gives great dynamism to the entire composition. The space is two-dimensional and compressed, all in the foreground. These are a type of forced expressionism that indicates Warner's certain expressionistic tendencies, but his love of color and nature also draws him closer to a post-impressionist context.

Warner is the pen name of Vilmo Galimberti, a painter born in 1944 and who passed away in 2006. He lived between Lissone and Stintino. A well-known painter, he also held exhibitions in the United States and received numerous awards. His painting is based on an expressive and emotional use of color, aimed at conveying harmony and joy of life.
